Where do the benchmark prices come from?
Residential electricity and gasoline prices come live from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), refreshed at most once a day. DC fast charging uses a manually curated starting value, since public fast-charging pricing isn't published by the EIA.
Can I edit the suggested prices?
Yes. Every cost input in KevCalc is fully editable — tap any cost chip to enter your own local rate. Benchmarks are meant as typical national starting points, not local guarantees.
Is my data private?
Yes. KevCalc has no user accounts and no cloud sync. Every value you enter is stored locally on your device and never leaves it.
Will more calculators be added?
KevCalc is built as an extensible calculator library, so yes — new, focused calculators can be added to the app over time.
